You Could Never Kill My Passions: A Poem On What it Means to Live

The pull and demand of its will burns my tongue

I like the way it burns so I do not try to cool it down

I hold onto the saliva in my gums

Taming a dragon that burns a thousands suns

Letting it burn on it’s own accord

For my passions destiny has it’s own lifetime to live, free willingly

It will carry on for more than I

Razor sharp teeth that digs into your skin

Saliva that tightens the grips and then in that same moment releases the pain

Ecstasy

The remainder of Blood, drips every last drop onto what it desires

Thickens and dries for the warmness to wrap and melts onto another

Passion

It will never die, yet expand
