Stigma & Stamens » Poetry

If you wish to know how I would like to be carried In this way of life

Spend time in a garden

Dazzled in light beams

Coated, underneath the tree’s shade

Sitting with the buzzings of the honey bees perched on top of the pink dewy lilies

Not only will they teach you how to live in harmony

But, through this, you will find

How they carry their own sense of love for the divine,

In this pouch, they collect

They will soon bring to their nests

But, before they do

These yellow bug-eyed angels will use their wings to glide

Gracefully, without contempt, crossing into view

A relationship based not on rules but on trust between the two

If you wish to know how I would like to be carried In this way of life

Step into the garden and do not forget to look twice
